Olivia Thirlby (born October 6, 1986) is an American actress best known for her role as Leah, the best friend of Ellen Page’s character in the 2007 film Juno. In June 2008, Thirlby was described by Vanity Fair magazine as a member of “Hollywood’s New Wave”.

Thirlby was born in New York City, to an advertising executive mother and a contractor father. She was raised in Manhattan’s East Village, attending school at Friends Seminary in the city’s Gramercy neighborhood, where she graduated in a class of 57 students. She also attended French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in upstate New York. She took classes at the American Globe Theatre, and briefly at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she completed a stage combat course with the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat (BASSC).

Marley Eve Shelton (born April 12, 1974) is an American film and television actress. Shelton began her acting career in her late teens, and appeared in several 1990s’ television movies and shows. She made her film debut in the critically acclaimed drama Grand Canyon (1991), and was cast in the films The Sandlot (1993), Nixon (1995), and Warriors of Virtue (1997).

She had been rumoured for a part beforehand, and is open to reprising the role in future, although “At the moment, when it comes to acting, I’m a bit of a commitment-phobe.”

In 2001, she made her Broadway debut as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. During her time on Veronica Mars, Bell appeared as Mary Lane in the film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, a reprise of the role she had played in the New York theatrical production of the musical on which the film was based. Macdonald rose to fame in 2007 with her debut album, This Is the Life (2007) and its fourth single, “This Is the Life”.
